Description: Long considered synonymous with N. ramispina, N. gracillima differs in several respects, not least the simple, not branched pitcher spurs and the more slender habit. Our form has particularly striking glossy chestnut pitchers with waxy paler interiors and purple-flushed leaves. Nepenthes gracillima is native to the mountains of Peninsular Malaysia where it grows in cool highland forest.
Cultivation recommendations:Requires intermediate to cool humid conditions as for other highland species. Pitcher colouration is usually darker if given strong light.
