Description
Description: A beautiful species endemic to the MT. Pangulubao of North Sumatera. A number of different forms exist, but the highly ornate pitchers are usually colored with varying degrees of red to purple spots and are adorned with attractive striped peristomes. Lower pitchers are often broad in shape; uppers tend to be very slender funnel-shaped to nearly tubular (up to 25 cm in length). The unusually long spur at the base of the lid is distinctive of this species.
Cultivation recommendations: A moderately-fast grower, this species is easy to cultivate under cool humid conditions as for other highland Nepenthes.
Pot size : 8cm
